Practice Better connector

A remote MCP server that lets ChatGPT, Claude and other MCP clients read and change a Practice Better account through your own API key. Every documented Practice Better operation is available as a tool.

Before you connect

  1. Enable the API Access (Beta) add-on in Practice Better (My Subscription → View add-ons) and wait for support to approve it.
  2. Create a dedicated API key for this connector (Settings & Preferences → API Access → Create key). Choose read or read-and-write access.
  3. Do not set an IP allowlist on the key: the connector runs on a global edge network and an allowlist would block it.
  4. Add the connector inside ChatGPT (Developer mode) or Claude (Custom connectors) with the URL above, then sign in with the Client ID and Secret when the form opens.
  5. First prompt: "Who am I connected as?"
  6. If you suspect the key leaked: delete it in Practice Better first, then disconnect the connector in the app.
